The Betty Jean Brown Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization currently providing service in East Harlem, NY. We provide fresh fruit and vegetables to children in underserved communities to develop healthy eating habits that promote their overall health and well-being.In order to fulfill this mission, Betty Jean Brown Foundation uses its flagship produce program which provides produce and nutrition education to children every two weeks. Our target audience resides in areas considered food deserts where such produce is cost-prohibitive or unavailable.We are seeking support to assist in this mission, which can be provided in several ways:
